iProject

Overview

We did not build iProject. We inherited it — a live Laravel 4 application still serving real users — and carried it forward five major framework versions. The upgrade itself took a month: a week of planning, a week of execution, a week of migration, and a stable system inside the fourth. The rest of the year-plus engagement went into everything around it — server and database optimisation, payment gateway revamps, and feature upgrades — on a platform that had to keep running while we changed it. And the work has continued since — the platform is still maintained and upgraded, so it has never sat still on any one version.

What we delivered

• Search moved onto Meilisearch via Laravel Scout
